Powerspark Electronic Ignition explained in more detail:
The kit uses a simple magnetic trigger and optimises dwell to provide a reliable and consistent spark across the rev range. It is easy to install and maintenance free.
Each kit comprises a baseplate with electronic module, trigger ring and all wiring. The new electronic baseplate mounts exactly where the points and condenser baseplate sat. The kit connects directly to the coil using the wires provided, red to the positive side and black to the negative side. The ignition kit will automatically shut down if the ignition is left switched on without the engine running to prevent component damage.
Powerspark Electronic Ignition Kits are designed to work with a coil resistance above 1.5 ohms, typically 3.0 ohms. Some performance coils operate at a lower resistance and will need the High Energy electronic ignition kit.
Full fitting instructions are included with your kit, and plenty more instructions can be found on our blog.

Module replacent
I originally bought a complete dizzy from Powerspark and have been very happy with it, until the car went on loan and some idiot connected the battery the wrong way round and blew the module. Powerspark to the rescue again, fast efficient and friendly. I couldn't ask for better service

K2 electronic ignition conversion
Easier to install than I thought, the difference it has made is exceptional; engine now ticks over so smoothly. Customer service from PowerSpark was second to none. I highly recommend this conversion.

Worked first time
Cleaned base plate, added the white thermal ‘gunk’ screwed into place, connected and started the engine (first time). Just need to do timing now as I bought the timing light too !

Powerspark Lucas kit for Lotus Elan Sprint
A tiny little package of bits and pieces that actually proved simple to fit and worked perfectly "out of the box". My old eyes had a job to read the instructions on the back of the package, so I downloaded them from the website - much better. So this is a product that does what it says, is simple to fit, and very good value (others of the same type are being sold for approaching £200 and I cannot see why they would do a better job than this). Recommended.

Hi I have fitted many of these items from you, but this was the first one that the black magnet wheel was not a tight fit on the cam, and was also not central, it moved in an elipce, but it did still work, perhaps a check on the magnet quality may be an idea? Regards John

Good unit
Simple to fit....and it's good to know the car is no longer relying on two pieces of metal bashing there heads together to create a spark!!!!!
