A High Energy Electronic Ignition Kit is designed to be used with a higher powered ignition coil of less than 1.4 Ohm resistance. Suited for a vehicle that requires a more accurate and powerful spark.
This kit is designed to replace the points and condenser inside Bosch 4 Cylinder, Right Hand Points Distributors.
Bosch distributors are either 1 piece or 2 piece construction, and have Left Hand or Right Hand Points Sets.
This ignition kit is designed to replace a one piece, right hand points set in Bosch 4 Cylinder distributors.
Suitable for vacuum advance & centrifugal advance distributors.
Distributors of this type can have the following product numbers:
JF4, JFU4, 009, 050, SVDA, 0231, and more.
This distributor was fitted to a huge array of vehicles, including cars from Audi, Alfa Romeo, BMW, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Saab, Vauxhall, Volvo, Volkswagen (Air and Water Cooled) amongst others.

Powerspark Electronic Ignition explained in more detail:
The kit uses a simple magnetic trigger and optimises dwell to provide a reliable and consistent spark across the rev range. It is easy to install and maintenance free.
Each kit comprises a baseplate with electronic module, trigger ring and all wiring. The new electronic baseplate mounts exactly where the points and condenser baseplate sat. The kit connects directly to the coil using the wires provided, red to the positive side and black to the negative side. The ignition kit will automatically shut down if the ignition is left switched on without the engine running to prevent component damage.
Powerspark Electronic Ignition Kits are designed to work with a coil resistance below 1.5 ohms.
