Purchase of Lucas distributor cap DDB101
There is a cheaper offer elswhere on Ebay but the shipping charge is ridiculously high, making the total cost about 50% greater than Powerspark. I placed the order with Powerspark on 22nd March and received the goods on 25th March. as promised. This was excellent service and value. Well done!

Lucas 25D Distributor Cap Side Entry DDB101
The set screws have a sharp point which makes them an insulation-displacement method of creating the contact with the modern carbon-cored plug wires. An excellent idea. The side entry is clocked 90 degrees further clockwise than my original Lucas 25D cap. Looking at the adjacent picture, my original cap has the wires exiting towards the "North West" instead of the "South West" as shown. So it looks slightly different to my "original" but still looks period correct. In fact on my 1957 Land Rover, it places the side exit closer to the plugs & allows for shorter plug wires & a neater overall installation.
