It does this thousands of times each minute. Over time spark plugs start to break down, resulting in a poor spark. A healthy engine needs good clean spark plugs.

Benefits of NGK spark plugs:
- NGK spark plugs use a central electrode with copper deeply inserted in the tip which quickly dissipates large amounts of heat, preventing overheating and fouling
- NGK spark plugs also utilise a trivalent plating, which prevents seizure and acts as a release agent during plug removal. This can act as a lubricant, altering torque values up to 20 percent, so be aware not to over tighten.
