(Please note that this kit is specifically for the Lucas distributor fitted to the Rover V8. It is not compatible with other vehicles that use a similar ignition module.)
Requirements: Must be used with an Ignition coil with less than 1.4 OHMS. Such as the Lucas DLB198 or the Viper dry resin VCE ignition coil.

Rover V8 Relocation kit
Bought due to a not starting problem, tests indicated the ignition amplifier so logical to re-locate it. No instructions with it. Instructions on the web show how to fit it to the distributor. No instructions how to remove and replace distributor keeping the timing close to correct. No instructions how to wire the harness and 3 pin wire, looked at other products and the instructions are obviously for a previous version. Currently, now with a new coil, I can't get the car started and it would be good to have some advice s to fault finding, at least with the kit fitted.

Powerspark remote amplfier
Had problems with the Rover V8 on board distributor amplifier. It seemed to be causing issues when car was iwarmed up. Fitted the Powerspark unit on the rear bulkhead and it's now a different car to drive. So much better with car pulling in 5th gear at low revs with no issues. Recommend this unit.
