Traditional Points Distributors:
The traditional ignition system used in most cars up until the 1980s.
Use with Copper or Silicone HT Leads.
To be used with a Standard or Sports ignition coil, resistance reading above 1.4ohms
Electronic Distributors:
Looks like an original points distributor but contains an electronic ignition module.
Not to be used with copper HT leads.
To be used with a Standard or Sports ignition coil, resistance reading above 1.4ohms
Electronic High Energy Distributors:
Looks like an original points distributor but contains an electronic ignition module capable of 3x the spark of standard electronic ignition.
Not to be used with copper HT leads.
Ideal for high performance engines.
To be used with a Standard or Sports ignition coil, resistance reading less than 1.4ohms
